It started with one heavy shipment

Uplift Freight began with a single shipment from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. A road courier quoted R6 800 and three to five days. Flying the same shipment on domestic airline cargo cost a fraction of that, and it arrived the same day.

Most people never hear about that option, because airline cargo is sold airport to airport and you have to lodge and collect it at the cargo terminal yourself. So we built a service around it: we collect at your door, fly the shipment, and deliver it at the other end. One quote, one company.

What we do

• Door-to-door air freight for heavy items from 35 kg between Johannesburg and Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
• City-to-city road freight for items too big or not allowed to fly.
