Personal courier for heavy items between cities

Send heavy things to another city without a moving truck

Not everything heavy needs a full removal truck. If you're sending a few boxes to a new city, a piece of gym equipment you sold online, a fridge to family, or a bicycle to your next race, Uplift Freight collects it from your home, flies it and delivers it to the door at the other end. You get one fixed price upfront.

What private customers send

• Moving boxes and belongings for students, new jobs and family moves between cities.
• Appliances and furniture pieces that fit through an aircraft cargo door: fridges, washing machines, desks and chairs.
• Items bought or sold online that are too heavy for a normal parcel courier.
• Gym equipment: benches, racks, weight plates and machines.
• Bicycles and sports gear (tyres deflated; e-bike batteries need approval first).
• Tools, tyres and car parts for your own projects.

How it works

1. Tell us what you're sendingWhere from, where to, how many pieces, the weight and the size. The quote form takes you through it.
2. Get one fixed priceCovers collection at your door, the flight and delivery.
3. Pay, and we collectPayment is upfront. A driver collects from your home at the agreed time.
4. Delivered next day, usuallyThe receiver gets it at their door. You get updates along the way.

Packing tips for heavy items

• Use strong double-walled boxes or wooden crates; don't overfill.
• Wrap anything that can break, and fill gaps so nothing moves.
• Remove batteries, fuel and gas, and drain appliances.
• Label every piece with the receiver's name, address and number.

Too big for the plane?

Couches, wardrobes and other very large pieces usually won't fit through an aircraft cargo door. We can send those by road freight instead.
