When road freight is the better choice

Air is the fastest way to move heavy items between cities, but it isn't right for everything. For shipments that are too big, too awkward or not allowed to fly, we arrange city-to-city road freight with the same door-to-door service and one fixed quote.

• Too big for the plane: couches, wardrobes, long machinery and anything that won't fit through an aircraft cargo door.
• Not allowed to fly: some batteries, fuel-containing equipment and chemicals that airlines won't accept.
• Not urgent: when a few extra days on the road is fine and the budget matters more.
• Pallets and part loads: strapped pallets of stock between warehouses.
